Brushing & Flossing
It is always important to keep up with your dental hygiene - healthy habits build healthy folks, after all. However, when you have braces, it’s perhaps even more important to have a good routine for brushing and flossing, in order to keep your teeth and gums health throughout your treatment plan.
Generally, we recommend brushing after every meal as good general oral hygiene. It will help prevent general tooth decay, and it will also help remove the plaque while you’re wearing your braces. We have recommendations for products we think you’ll benefit from during your treatment plan, whether it is toothbrush type, toothpaste types for different types of gums, or how to appropriately floss.
We’ve created a visual resource for you; feel free to print it out to put up while you’re getting into your routine. And, of course, if you have any questions or need any additional support, we are here for you. Let’s unlock your smile - together.
